Open them from **Settings** in the sidebar. Each website in your account has its own settings, so switch to the right website first. See [Multiple websites](https://docs.personizely.net/websites). **Who can change them:** account owners and admins. Users can view settings, and can manage goals, custom fields, placeholders, parsers and features. Used to check your installation and to name the website in the website switcher | Set when you add the website | | **Currency** | The currency reports show revenue in, and the default currency for the snippet | Any currency. Appears only while the badge is on; see [Branding](https://docs.personizely.net/branding#powered-by-personizely-badge) | The **Code** block shows how Personizely is installed: - **Shopify:** the status of the **Code snippet** app embed, with a link to turn it on. It appears only when the account has more than one website. Default: **7 days**. On Shopify the change applies automatically; elsewhere copy the code to your site again. See [Performance and flicker](https://docs.personizely.net/performance-anti-flicker) | | **Pause tracking** | Stops all tracking, widgets and campaigns on this website. No visitors are counted toward your quota while paused | Off (default). See [Plans, visitor quota and pausing](https://docs.personizely.net/quota#pause-tracking) | | **Track profit analytics** | Records profit for each order from Shopify's product costs, for profit metrics in reports | Off (default). Premium plan, Shopify. Asks for permission to read inventory data the first time. Shown when profit analytics is on | | **Tag orders with campaign attribution** | Tags Shopify orders with the campaign and variation that led to them, such as `ply_campaign_123` and `ply_variation_456` | Off (default). Asks for permission to write orders the first time | | **Attribute orders** | Which Shopify order event counts as the purchase | **When the order is paid** (default) or **When the order is created**. Choose created for cash on delivery and other unpaid orders. Shopify | ## Security **Include traffic from**, **Exclude traffic from** (countries, IP addresses and IP ranges) and **Bot & abuser filtering** (off by default; recommended value 5). Filtered visitors aren't counted in reports or toward your visitor quota. Every option is explained in [Traffic filtering and bots](https://docs.personizely.net/traffic-filtering). ## Behavior details and limitations - **Settings are per website.** Nothing on this page is shared between websites in the same account. To use the same goals or branding on two websites, set them up on each. - **Changes reach your site when you save.** Personizely republishes the website's snippet after you save, so visitors get the new behavior on their next page load. - **Tracking settings aren't retroactive.** Changing the attribution window, profit tracking or **Attribute orders** affects data collected from then on. Past orders and reports aren't recalculated. - **Shorter cookie lifetime, more "new" visitors.** A returning visitor whose cookie has expired is counted as a new visitor, gets a fresh variation assignment and counts again toward your quota. - **Some settings depend on your platform.** Store password, profit tracking, order tagging and **Attribute orders** appear only for Shopify stores.
