The Social element shows a row of buttons linking to your social media profiles, such as Instagram, TikTok and X. Each button opens its link in a new tab. It's display-only: it has no action or automations.

**Available on:** all platforms.

## Networks

Add one button per network from: Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Medium, Pinterest, Product Hunt, Slack, Telegram, TikTok, Twitch, Vk, X and Youtube. Each network can be added once. New elements start with Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

## Behavior details and limitations

- **Links always open in a new tab.** The widget stays open in the original tab.
- **Clicks aren't tracked** as widget clicks or conversions. Use [buttons](https://docs.personizely.net/button) with **Open URL** and automations if you need to measure clicks to a profile.
- **X** is the network formerly called Twitter; use your `x.com` profile URL.
- **Empty URLs** still render the icon. Remove networks you don't use.

## Example

A "Thanks for subscribing" step with a headline, a [coupon](https://docs.personizely.net/coupon) and a Social element linking to Instagram and TikTok.
