One Personizely account can hold several websites, for example a store per country or a brand's main site and its landing pages. Each website has its own snippet, settings, campaigns, widgets and reports. Your team, subscription and visitor quota are shared across all of them. How many websites you can add depends on your plan.

## What's per website and what's shared

| Per website | Shared by the account |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------- |
| The install code (snippet) and its website ID | Subscription and billing |
| [Website settings](docId\:b9vP5152KwaI-hBC2zEoY): domain, currency, tracking, security, branding | Visitor quota: visitors on all websites add up |
| Integrations | Team and roles: everyone can access every website |
| Campaigns, widgets, targets, goals | API keys and connected apps |
| Custom fields, placeholders, parsers, features | Data Processing Agreement |
| Visitors, contacts and reports | |

Nothing is copied between websites automatically. To reuse a widget on another website, export it and import it there from the template library. See [Branding, templates and themes](docId\:tj8w-HDr8smpbtNyCh2lz#templates).

## Switch websites

The website switcher shows the current website's domain at the top of the sidebar. Click it and pick another website. You land on that website's Dashboard, and everything you then see and edit, including **Settings**, belongs to that website. Personizely remembers the last website you used and opens it next time you sign in.

## Add a website

1. Click the website switcher and choose **Add website**.
2. Enter the **Domain**, such as `example.com`, and click **Save**.
3. Personizely switches to the new website and opens setup, where you install it.

**Add website** appears for owners and admins while the account is below its website limit. Install the new website like any other: see [Install Personizely](docId\:fLX7cCmHhCf5QIV_3gGvF). For a Shopify store, install the Personizely app from that store: see [Install Personizely on Shopify](docId\:KKBkXcEXtFXCVJdjXvQ74).

## Website limit and billing

Your plan includes a number of websites. On plans with more than one, **Account → Subscription → Quota** shows how many you've used. Billing is per account, not per website: there's one subscription, and its visitor quota covers the visitors of every website. Accounts billed through Shopify are limited to one website per account. See [Plans, visitor quota and pausing](docId\:PcWtmn677CfNmjPJ58llM).

If **Add website** is missing, you've reached the limit or you're not an owner or admin. Upgrade the plan from **Account → Subscription → Change plan**, or delete a website you no longer need.

## Delete a website

1. Switch to the website.
2. Go to **Settings → Website** and click **Delete website**.
3. Confirm.

Deleting a website permanently deletes its settings, campaigns, widgets, goals, targets, visitors, contacts and reports. Its snippet stops serving, so the code left on that site loads nothing; remove it from your site anyway. It can't be undone. **Delete website** appears only for owners and admins, and only when the account has more than one website: an account always keeps at least one.

## Behavior details and limitations

- **Different domains are different visitors.** A shopper who visits two of your websites is counted on each, with separate profiles, assignments and reports, and counts toward your quota once per website.
- **One website, several subdomains.** Subdomains of the same domain, such as `www.example.com` and `shop.example.com`, can share one website and one snippet, and share the visitor. Use separate websites when you want separate settings or reports.
- **Pausing is per website.** **Pause tracking** stops one website; others keep running. Exceeding the account's visitor quota stops all websites.
- **API calls name the website.** With more than one website, Public API requests must pass `websiteId`. See [REST API](docId\:HG88NTwtq60d17m6jFErF).
- **Changing the domain** in **Settings → Website** doesn't move data or change the install code. Use it when your store's domain changes.
