Company filter (B2B targeting)
The Company filter matches visitors by the company they browse from: its name, domain, country, founding year, number of employees, annual revenue and industry. Use it for B2B personalization, such as showing enterprise messaging to large companies, a wholesale offer to retailers, or a tailored headline to visitors from target accounts.
Available on: all platforms. Requires: the Integrations, connected in Integrations. The filter appears once one of them is connected. Connect only one: Personizely uses one enrichment source at a time.
How it's evaluated
The filter reads: Company data matches all the following conditions. You add one condition per property, and the visitor matches only when every condition is true.
- When a visitor arrives, Personizely asks your connected provider (Clearbit or Albacross) which company the visitor's network belongs to.
- The answer is kept for the rest of the visitor's browser session, so it's looked up once per session.
- Campaigns that use the Company filter stay hidden until the answer arrives. Widgets are re-checked as soon as it does.
If the provider doesn't recognize a company, the filter doesn't match.

Behavior details
- Sizes and revenues are ranges. Providers report bands such as "51–250 employees". Employees (from) is the bottom of the band and Employees (to) the top. To target companies with more than 50 employees, use "Employees (from) is higher than 50"; a company in the 11–50 band doesn't match.
- Comparisons are strict. "is higher than 50" doesn't match exactly 50.
- Text comparisons are case-sensitive. Domains are usually lowercase; names follow the provider's spelling.
- Unrecognized visitors don't match any condition. Visitors on home broadband, mobile networks or VPNs are often not linked to a company. For them the filter doesn't match, even with is empty. To target everyone except a company audience, put the Company filter in a group set to don't match.
- One company per session. If a visitor moves from their office network to a mobile connection during a session, the first result is kept until the session ends.
- Provider data differs. Which properties are filled in depends on what your provider knows about the company. Albacross classifies industries with its own codes, so NAICS Category conditions are most reliable with Clearbit; with Albacross, prefer Name or Domain conditions.
- Same data in text. Company properties can be inserted into widgets and campaigns with Dynamic text (personalization variables), for example {company.name or 'your team'}.
Examples
- Enterprise headline: a personalization targeted to "Employees (from) is higher than 1000" that changes the homepage hero to "Built for enterprise teams" and the call to action to "Book a demo".
- Target accounts: a group set to match any with Company filters "Domain is acme.com", "Domain is globex.com" and so on, for a callout with a named-account offer.
- Retail buyers: "NAICS Category is Retail trade" for a popup offering a wholesale catalog.
